Addiction
The greatest invention ever made is electricity. Next to it i consider the computer and the internet as one of the best inventions as it has taken the world a long way infact shrunk the world.With the growing popularity for the internet soon there'll be internet at every home. I see most of the software people are almost totally addicted to their computer. Infact they are not addicted but are forced to stare at the computer the whole day which has given way for addiction.Getting online is something you cant restrict. But when you stay alone, you get to connected to all your friends. A boon to all those who stay away from their family. Technology has taken our life in its hands. We are almost dependent on electronic gadgets for everything. We set reminders in our mobile phones for everything. Almost everyone is taken over by the mobile mania. As we punch in almost all the details we tend to get even more absent-minded. This has happened to me cos i forgot my very own friends birthday!!So all i want to put forth is just dont get too much addicted and train your mind to rememeber things!!

But, a point well-said. Its been long time, i put even "to shave" in my mobile reminder.
Did you know that Eienstien once said, " Dont trouble your mind with small informations " and thats excatly why you need all these.. ;)

thn there is the all pervading choice b/w wat u do with ur comp.
during office hrs u blink at the comp tryin to write code.
at home u can do watever u want... gosh i am gonna miss all dat yaar .. :-(
addiction..yup..very much..n reg absent mindedness...well v nvr used calculators durin skool but in col,v use the calculator for even the simplest of calculations....cant help it...technology has improved so much:D
I can tooootally relate to your post. I am and have been a BIG Internet and PC Addict. I'm not feeling bad bout it though :P
in fact sometimes my virtual life is better than my real life.
cha... How cud u name computer as the a great invention inspite of being an electronics student?? Computer is just a dustbin w/o electronics and electricity :-)
To symbolise this I have even kept my dustbin over the spare computer stand in my cubicle ;-)
