Marvelous Evening!!

For all those who have never heard of Saarang, Saarang is a cultural fiesta that happens every year at IIT-M. As mentioned earlier i dint miss out Saarang this year. So a hat-trick. I had been to Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy concert yesterday. We were forewarned to reach the place early but we were late(as usual) but then we made it to the OAT before the program started. The crowd was really awesome and everybody were so vibrant and brimming with energy. The air was resplendent with so much joy and energy. Even people with deepest depressions might have felt elated. We screamed and yelled and danced. My throat is gone. Now im squeaking no no.. im croaking like a frog. My voice has gone literally that bad. Shankar kicked off the show(at 7:15pm) with his biggest hit "Breathless". Needless to mention he sang from DCH and the crowd went crazy. It was a mindblowing. Blaaze Rehman's rap mate, Mahalaxmi Iyer, Srinivas, Vijay(yesudas's son) shared stage with him. Sad that he dint sing a tamil song. He did sing one but that was a medley so he sang just a few lines. We were disappointed that the concert got over by 10:10pm but still we enjoyed each minute from the beginning. I should say it was worth the money we spent on the ticket. Music is perhaps a best option to de-stress(in my view). This is sure an amazing evening which ill cherish forever!!
